Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A wide, low mass on the base

The stadium footprint is wide, and at this scale the roof and walls sit close to the base plate. A larger print gives the stand edges and the roof line more room.

  2. Fine layers on the stand edges

The outer wall and roof edge are thin bands at this scale, so layers of 0.12–0.16 mm and a slower speed keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Western Sydney Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Western Sydney Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Western Sydney Stadium

Western Sydney Stadium, known commercially as CommBank Stadium, stands in Parramatta, a suburb of Sydney. Rugby league and soccer are its main sports: the Parramatta Eels play there in the NRL, and Western Sydney Wanderers FC plays there in the A-League Men. It seats 30,000, cost $300 million to build, belongs to the NSW Government and is run by Venues NSW, and opened in 2019.

The ground replaced Parramatta Stadium on the same site. That stadium dated from 1985, and Queen Elizabeth II opened it in March 1986, on land that had held Cumberland Oval, a racecourse approved in 1847 with a cricket field opened in 1863. After Parramatta took their first rugby league premiership in 1981, supporters packed in and burned the grandstand down. A decision in September 2015 settled on demolishing and rebuilding the entire ground.

The new design raised capacity by 10,000 over the old stadium and added steep grandstands, and Australia's first big installation of modern safe standing was part of it, in three bays that hold 1,000. It was designed for a LEED Gold energy rating. The stadium officially opened on April 14, 2019, and its first match, on April 22, was a rugby league game between the Eels and the Wests Tigers. The field is laid out to international standards for soccer and for both rugby codes.
