Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. The sweeping crescent shell

One continuous shell roof curves over the bowl, highest above the east grandstand and sinking toward the west, with a rolled edge wrapping the top of the facade. Print larger, or keep Full detail, for the roll and its seam ribs.

  2. Trusses and corner stairs

Lattice trusses run over the translucent panels, and open stair flights sit at the corners. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a slower speed help those light members hold their shape.

  3. One piece with the ground

Wörthersee Stadion is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Wörthersee Stadion takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Wörthersee Stadion

Wörthersee Stadion is a multi-purpose ground in Klagenfurt, Austria, and Austria Klagenfurt plays its home matches there. It forms part of the Sportpark Klagenfurt, a campus holding several other sports venues, and takes its name from the lake of the same name close by. A track and field ground of that name had stood since 1960, seating 10,900; it came down from 2005 and a bigger building, the Hypo-Arena, took its place, named after its sponsor, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International.

Eight grounds hosted the 2008 European Football Championship and this was one of them, built with room for 32,000 spectators. Official opening day was September 7, 2007, when Austria met Japan in a friendly watched by 26,500 people. Once fitted out, the ground took 18,000 for Austrian Football League fixtures and 30,000 for internationals and other big events. Rail seats for safe standing are fitted in the South Stand's lower tier.

The ground was renamed Wörtherseestadion in 2010 and became 28 Black Arena in July 2022, taking the name of an energy drink manufacturer that sponsors Austria Klagenfurt. Klaus Littmann's For Forest, described as Austria's largest public art installation, filled the pitch with 300 trees in 2019 as a warning about what might become of nature; afterwards the trees went to sites near the campus. Bayern Munich beat Paris Saint-Germain 3–1 there in an International Champions Cup match on July 21, 2018.
