6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Stadium stands
A stadium can have repeating rows of stands. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps more of the seating detail.
- One piece with the ground
York Lions Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. York Lions Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About York Lions Stadium
York Lions Stadium, an outdoor sports venue, belongs to York University's Keele Campus in Toronto's North York district, and the York Lions varsity teams are based there. Its main purpose: the Pan American and Parapan American Games of 2015, at which it staged the opening ceremony and track and field competitions.
Planning called for roughly 5,000 seats, made up of 3,000 permanent ones and 2,000 temporary ones. During the Games, 7,500 more temporary seats raised the total capacity to 12,500. Costs came to roughly $45.5 million for the facility, of which $34.9 million went to design and construction.
In early 2021 a larger surface of artificial turf certified by FIFA and World Rugby took the place of the track and grass field. The renovation also lets the surface be covered by an air-supported dome in winter. The Invictus Games also used the stadium as an event facility.
About this model
York Lions Stadium is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
