Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Chimneys and turret details

Many small chimneys and turrets stand along the rooflines. Full detail keeps them at larger sizes; Print friendly thickens them for small prints. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm helps.

  2. One piece with the ground

Ailsa Farms is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ailsa Farms takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Ailsa Farms

Ailsa Farms is a historic house at 300 Pompton Road in Wayne, Passaic County, New Jersey. It is also called Haledon Hall and Hobart Manor, and it stands on William Paterson University's campus. New Jersey bought it in 1948 from relatives of Garret Hobart, the 24th U.S. vice president.

John MacCullough, a Scottish immigrant who grew wealthy in the wool industry, built the first house in 1877. It was a two-story fieldstone house styled like a castle, with two octagonal turrets. Jennie Tuttle Hobart, whose husband Garret had been vice president, bought it in 1902, and the family used it as a weekend retreat and summer home.

In 1915 Garret Hobart Jr., their son, built a three-story brick wing onto the house, to plans by Fred Wesley Wentworth and Frederick Vreeland, both architects from Paterson. In 1948 the state took over the property for the Paterson State Teachers College. The building, called Hobart Manor, holds the university's presidential office and its Office of Institutional Advancement.
