Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Thin raised arm and torch

The torch and raised arm are slender parts at the top of a tall figure. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints. Print slowly with good cooling.

  2. Stepped pedestal outline

The pedestal rises in steps from a star-shaped base with pointed corners. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps those steps and corners crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Statue of Liberty is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Statue of Liberty takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty occupies Liberty Island in New York Harbor, an island that belongs to New York City. It is a neoclassical sculpture of colossal size, showing a woman in a robe and crown, clad in copper. The French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed it, and Gustave Eiffel built its metal framework. France's people gave it to the United States, and its dedication took place on October 28, 1886. The figure is based on Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty.

Her right hand lifts a torch overhead. Her left hand holds a tabula ansata inscribed with JULY IV MDCCLXXVI, a Roman-numeral rendering of July 4, 1776, when the U.S. Declaration of Independence is dated. Beneath her left foot lies a broken chain and shackle, which commemorates the national abolition of slavery after the American Civil War.

Édouard de Laboulaye, a French historian and abolitionist, proposed a monument in 1865 to mark the coming centennial of U.S. independence. Progress was held up by the Franco-Prussian War until 1875, when he suggested that the people of France pay for the statue while the United States supplied the site and built the pedestal. The statue was constructed in France, shipped in crates, and put together on the completed pedestal, on the island then known as Bedloe's Island. New York held its first ticker-tape parade for the completion, and President Grover Cleveland presided over the dedication. Since 1933 the National Park Service has maintained it.
