About Allianz Riviera

Allianz Riviera, a stadium with many uses in Nice, France, is used mostly by its host club OGC Nice for football, while the rugby union club Toulon sometimes plays home matches there. Under sponsorship regulations of UEFA, FIFA and the IOC, it also goes by Grand Stade de Nice, as well as Stade de Nice. It holds 36,178 people and took the place of the city's former stadium, the Stade Municipal du Ray.

Building work began in 2011 and took two years, and the stadium opened on September 22, 2013, when OGC Nice played Valenciennes. It was originally planned for completion by 2007, but construction was halted the year before because of concerns about the structure's future cost, and the plans, for a site at Saint-Isidore close to the Var, were shelved. France's bid to host UEFA Euro 2016, which ended up succeeding, brought the project back.

UEFA Euro 2016 used the stadium as a venue. In 2019 it staged six games at the FIFA Women's World Cup: four group games, a game in the round of 16, and the match for third place. It also staged six matches during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and it was used for the 2023 Rugby World Cup as well.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 750 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 10 mm 1:4,688
200 mm 12 mm 1:3,750
256 mm 16 mm 1:2,930

Angled supports around the base
A ring of slim angled struts holds up the bowl above the entrance level. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print or with a fine nozzle.
A broad ring-shaped roof
The roof ring reaches out over the stands and is crossed by fine panel lines. Printing slowly and at a larger size helps the overhang, and 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep the lines crisp.
One piece with the ground
Allianz Riviera is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Allianz Riviera takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Allianz Riviera is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there an Allianz Riviera STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Allianz Riviera grows with the print: about 10 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
