About Arena MRV

Arena MRV is a football stadium in the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It belongs to Clube Atlético Mineiro, which plays its home games there, and it is the city's second-largest football stadium. It stands on a plot of 56 thousand square meters in the California neighborhood, in the city's Northwest Region, beside Avenida Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek and close to the Eldorado Metro Station.

The first step toward the new stadium came in September 2017, when the club's Deliberative Council approved it, with 325 of its 337 councilors in favor. Rubens Menin, president of MRV Engenharia, the club's main sponsor, said he would give the land. Bernardo Farkasvölgyi, an architect and advisor to the club, designed the project. Work began on April 20, 2020, in a small ceremony attended by ten people, and Racional Engenharia Ltda was chosen as the builder.

The stadium was inaugurated on April 15, 2023, with around 9,000 spectators. Atlético's first match there was a 2-0 win over Santos in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A; Paulinho scored the opening goal. The environmental license listed 55 conditions, among them bike paths to the Eldorado Metro Station and a program to protect a bird at risk of extinction, the capetinho-do-oco-de-pau. The club also had to build a health care station and a day care center.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 23 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 29 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 37 mm 1:2,344

Raised lettering and badge
The facade carries raised lettering and a small badge. Print friendly adapts small details like these to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, and a larger print size keeps the letters readable.
Vertical ribs and layered roof
The facade is lined with fine vertical ribs under a layered roof rim. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the lines crisp, and a larger print size keeps them distinct.
One piece with the ground
Arena MRV is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Arena MRV takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Arena MRV is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there an Arena MRV STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Arena MRV grows with the print: about 23 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
