38 m of the Bar Building, 10 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Crenellated top and many windows
The penthouse parapet is notched, and the facade is covered in small window recesses. Print friendly adapts these small details; Full detail keeps them best on larger prints.
- One piece with the ground
The Bar Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bar Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Bar Building
Benjamin Levitan designed the Bar Building, a historic commercial building in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. Completed in 1926, it has ten stories and rises 125 feet, with a recessed two-story penthouse above the tenth floor that a crenellated parapet encloses.
The steel structure is covered in face brick and cement, and its decoration is terra cotta in Neo-Gothic and Art Deco styles. At completion, no structure was taller anywhere from New York City up to Albany, NY. The crenellated tower once had glazed windows on its three sides, which were later bricked in.
In the early 2000s, eminent domain threatened the building with demolition. J.J. Sedelmaier, of J.J. Sedelmaier Productions, an animation and design studio, worked alongside the White Plains Historical Society and the state to preserve it and win a National Register listing. Its National Register of Historic Places listing came on May 17, 2007.
About this model
The Bar Building is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
