Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tower above low wings

A single tall tower rises from lower buildings that spread out at its foot. The tower's crown and the joins between the blocks are the finest forms, so a larger print and Full detail help them read.

  2. Openwork screen on the tower

The tower's upper face is cut into a fine openwork screen. Print friendly adapts that small pattern to the print scale; Full detail and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep it open.

  3. One piece with the ground

Barack Obama Presidential Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Barack Obama Presidential Center takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Barack Obama Presidential Center

The Barack Obama Presidential Center in Chicago is a museum, a library and an education project commemorating the presidency of Barack Obama, who served as the 44th U.S. president. Its campus covers 19.3 acres (7.8 ha) of Jackson Park on the South Side, beside the University of Chicago, which supplies planning, support, engagement and programming. The main entry is at John Lewis Plaza.

Four buildings stand in a landscaped public park. A museum tower, a forum and a library cluster around a plaza on the north side, while an athletics center with a large modern playground lies apart to the south. Light-colored New Hampshire granite clads the tower and the plaza buildings; the museum building reaches 69 m (225 ft), the tallest of them. A Chicago Public Library branch forms part of the complex.

Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects and Interactive Design Architects jointly led design and engineering, and Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates was the landscape architect. The center and the National Archives and Records Administration are digitizing the Barack Obama Presidential Library, aiming to make it the first fully digitized presidential library. Its library holds more than 600 cubic feet of audiovisual recordings, along with about 3 million photographs. A dedication ceremony took place on June 18, 2026; the public was admitted the next day, June 19, Juneteenth.
