Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Keep the roof details clear

The long pitched roof has closely spaced ridges, with smaller curved roofs alongside it. A larger print and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm help retain these details.

  2. Watch the small tower details

The bell tower has arched openings. Use Print friendly to adapt these small features to the print scale, or choose Full detail for a larger print or fine nozzle.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor

The Basilica Cathedral of Santa María la Menor stands in Santo Domingo's Colonial City, in the Dominican Republic. Its site lies between Isabel la Católica and Calle Arzobispo Merino, beside Columbus Park. The cathedral's dedication is to St. Mary of the Incarnation, and it serves as the seat of Santo Domingo's archbishop. The cathedral is the oldest still standing in the Americas. It was consecrated on August 31, 1541, and Pope Benedict XV granted it minor basilica status in 1920.

Gothic architecture shapes the building, whose facade uses coral limestone with a golden tint. Ribbed vaulting and substantial walls characterize its interior; two doorways are Gothic, while the main entrance combines Gothic and Plateresque design. The central nave has a pitched roof, and the side naves have outward-facing ribbed vaults resembling domes. From the central nave to the rear of the presbytery, the basilica measures 54 m. Its treasury includes woodcarvings, furniture, silver, jewelry, and memorials to the dead.
