Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Three curved roofs

Three square roofs curve upward at the corners, with thin ridges and eave lips. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the curves and ridges crisp.

  2. Finial, rails and brackets

A slender gold finial tops the roof, and fine railings and bracket bands wrap the levels. Print slower with cooling; Full detail holds these small parts on a large print.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Bell Tower of Xi'an is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bell Tower of Xi'an takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Bell Tower of Xi'an

The Bell Tower of Xi'an is a brick and timber tower in central Xi'an, China, raised in 1384, early in the Ming dynasty. It stands where four streets, running east, west, south and north, meet, and it ranks among China's grandest bell towers of its kind. The Tang-dynasty Jingyun Bell left the tower in 1953 for the Stele Forest Museum, and a replica arrived in 1997.

It began at the Yingxiang Temple on Guangji Street, roughly a kilometer from the present location. In 1582 Gong Yuxian, a Shaanxi investigating censor, had it moved; the pedestal was rebuilt while the original material stayed in the tower. Repairs followed in 1699, 1740 and 1840, and on October 10, 1939 a Japanese air raid caused serious damage.

The square base covers 1,377 m² (14,820 sq ft); from ground to top the tower measures 36 m, including an 8.6 m pedestal. The tower opened to visitors in 1984, and in November 1996 it joined the national key cultural relics protection units. Its earlier role was to announce the time of day.
