Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Domed rotunda and lantern

The rotunda dome and the small figure on its top are the finest parts of this model. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Corner turrets and long wings

Small domed corner details sit on the rotunda building, beside long, plain wings. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps the small parts crisp, and a bigger print size helps.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Bergen County Court House is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bergen County Court House takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Bergen County Court House

The Bergen County Court House in Hackensack, New Jersey, is the sixth courthouse the county has had. Bergen is the state's most populous county. Hackensack became the county seat in 1710, and the first courthouse went up in 1715. James Riely Gordon, a civil engineer, won a competition to design the current building. Work began in 1910 and ended in 1912, with a price tag of one million dollars.

The style is known as American Renaissance. The rotunda's exterior walls are Vermont marble, and the dome inside follows the model of the Pantheon in Rome. A copper figure titled Enlightenment Giving Power, by Johannes Gelert, tops the dome. A relief of forty panels circles the drum of the dome, and five bronze eagles decorate the balustrades at the building's corners.

The Administration Building, begun in 1929 and finished in 1933, is neoclassical and faced in Arkansas limestone. The Annex that joins it to the rotunda was completed in 1958. Murals designed by William Winter were painted in courtrooms in the 1930s and early 1940s. The New Jersey Register of Historic Places and the National Register added the courthouse in 1982 and 1983 respectively.
