About Bitexco Financial Tower
Bitexco Financial Tower is a skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, set in the Financial District of Saigon beside the city's state treasury. Above ground it has 68 floors, with three basements below, and its height is 262.5 meters (861 ft). Vietnam's tallest building when it was completed in 2010, it held that record until January 2011, when Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower overtook it.
Carlos Zapata designed the tower, with AREP as architect of record, and took the lotus, Vietnam's national flower, as the inspiration for its shape. A groundbreaking ceremony took place in September 2005, construction began in June 2007, and the structure was topped out in mid-2010 before its inauguration on October 31, 2010. Its glass skin is made of 6,000 individually cut panels, since each floor is unique.
A helipad cantilevers from the 52nd floor on the southern side, about 191 meters up, and resembles a blossoming lotus bud. It projects 22 meters beyond the main structure, can carry a helicopter weighing up to 3 tons, and is described as Vietnam's first non-rooftop helipad. Building it took over 250 tons of structural steel and 4,000 bolts. An observation deck sits on the 49th floor, at a height of around 178 meters.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 72 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 90 mm | 1:3,000 |

- The cantilevered side platform
- A flat round platform juts out from one side of the tower, high up, so it is an overhang to watch. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, best for larger prints.
- Tall tapering shaft
- The tower is tall and narrows toward a sloped top, with fine horizontal lines for the floors. Print slowly with good cooling, and use layers of 0.12–0.16 mm to keep the lines crisp.
- One piece with the ground
- Bitexco Financial Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Bitexco Financial Tower takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Is there a Bitexco Financial Tower STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Bitexco Financial Tower grows with the print: about 72 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
