Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Long, low market roofs

The halls sit low and spread out, so the roofs carry more of the model than the height does. A larger print keeps the ridge lines and roof edges distinct.

  2. Detail between the halls

This is a set of low halls with changes of roofline rather than one big building. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers, and Full detail if you enlarge the print, so those edges stay separate.

  3. One piece with the ground

Borough Market is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Borough Market takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Borough Market

Borough Market is a market hall in Southwark, London, England, serving both wholesale and retail trade. A market has stood on the site since at least the 12th century, and it is one of London's largest and oldest food markets. The buildings standing there date from the 1850s, and the stalls deal mainly in specialty foods for the general public.

A market beside the end of London Bridge was recorded in 1276 and later shifted to a site on the High Street, south of St Margaret's church. Edward VI granted the City of London a royal charter in 1550 giving it control of every market in Southwark, a right Charles II confirmed in 1671. Traffic congestion grew so bad that Parliament abolished the market in 1754; a second act that year let the parishioners open another one elsewhere, and in 1756 trading restarted in Rochester Yard, on a site of 4.5 acres (18,000 square meters).

Henry Rose designed the present buildings in 1851; additions came in the 1860s, and an Art Deco entrance on Southwark Street followed in 1932. Trading continues under the arches of a railway viaduct, and a refurbishment begun in 2001 brought the South Portico of the old Floral Hall at Covent Garden to the site in 2004, listed Grade II in 2008. A board of volunteer trustees, who must live in the area, runs the market as a charitable trust in English law.
