Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. The slim bell tower

The bell tower is the tallest element and narrows as it climbs. Print slowly with good cooling, and use Full detail on a larger print so the upper stages stay open.

  2. Layers for the octagon and dome

An octagonal body and a curved dome are where layer lines show most. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the dome round and the cornices sharp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Cathedral of Saint Domnius is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Cathedral of Saint Domnius takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Cathedral of Saint Domnius

The Cathedral of Saint Domnius, known locally as Sveti Dujam or Sveti Duje, is the Catholic cathedral of Split, Croatia, and it is where the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska has its seat. It is a complex of parts from different periods: a church made from an Imperial Roman mausoleum, and a bell tower. The church itself is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, while the tower belongs to Saint Domnius. The whole stands inside Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The structure itself was built in AD 305 as the Mausoleum of Diocletian. It was consecrated around the turn of the 7th century, and it is regarded as the world's oldest Catholic cathedral still used in its original form, without a near-complete later renovation. Among structures used by any Christian cathedral it is the second oldest. The exterior is an octagon; inside, the space is circular and covered by a dome, ringed by eight red granite columns with Corinthian capitals.

The bell tower rises 57 meters and is the most authentic piece of medieval architecture in Dalmatia. It took several centuries to build, which left it a blend of Romanesque and Gothic work. Its walnut door is among the cathedral's most celebrated features: carved in 1214 by Andrija Buvina, a native of Split, it carries 28 scenes from the life of Christ. Inside stands a hexagonal pulpit of green porphyry from the 13th century, along with altars holding the relics of Saints Domnius and Anastasius.
