Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A tall, single tower

The model rises as one tall tower, so its top edges soften first at small sizes. Print slowly with good cooling near the top, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers for crisp vertical edges.

  2. One piece with the ground

Changsha IFS Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Changsha IFS Tower takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Changsha IFS Tower

Changsha IFS Tower consists of two skyscrapers in Changsha, Hunan, China. Tower 1 rises 452 meters and Tower 2 reaches 315 meters; construction began in 2013 and finished in 2017. The name IFS stands for International Finance Square. The two glass-clad towers have a rectangular form broken by rows of metal fins, which add detail to the facades and cut glare for the offices inside.

The complex is based on Harbour City, a retail development in Hong Kong. An underground network links it to Wuyi Square Station, an interchange for metro lines 1 and 2 in Changsha, and a passageway leads to Huangxing Road Pedestrian Shopping Street, among China's busiest pedestrian streets. Tower 1 has a crown that steps back by several meters at three points. Smaller floor plates near the top suit hotel uses, where guests pay a premium for rooms at such heights.

At its base a block-sized podium holds a mall covering 230,000 square meters of retail space. Tower 1 also has 700 meters of retail frontage, more than Harbour City, and the mall, one of the largest in Changsha and in Central China, offers entertainment, lifestyle, culture and dining.
