Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Chimneys and window rows

The roofline chimneys and the rows of small windows are the finest detail. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them at larger sizes.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Crane House and Historic YWCA is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Crane House and Historic YWCA takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Crane House and Historic YWCA

The Crane House and Historic YWCA, a Federal-style home, is in Montclair, New Jersey. Israel Crane had it built in 1796 in Cranetown, on what is now Glen Ridge Avenue, in what is today the southern part of Montclair. The Crane family owned it until 1920, when the YWCA bought it. It ranks among the few federal mansions that remain in northern New Jersey, and its National Register of Historic Places listing dates from March 14, 1973.

For 45 years the YWCA ran it as offices, dormitories and a gathering place for African American women and girls. In 1965 the house was threatened with demolition. Residents who wanted it preserved organized, and it was moved to 110 Orange Road from its original site on Old Road. It neighbors the Clark House and the Nathaniel Crane House, which the Montclair History Center also owns.

Israel Crane, a direct descendant of the family that founded Cranetown in 1694, was a successful businessman in cider, cotton and wool production. In 1806 he led a group in building the Newark-Pompton Turnpike. Documentation shows that he owned at least five enslaved people. His son James later added many Greek Revival touches, such as front columns.
