Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Print the taller tower slowly

The taller of the two towers makes this a tall print. Print slowly with cooling, and use layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm so the tower tops stay crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Delftse Poort is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Delftse Poort takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Delftse Poort

Delftse Poort is a skyscraper complex of two towers at Weena 505, beside Rotterdam's Centraal station. Tower I is 151.35 meters (496.6 ft) tall with 41 stories, and Tower II is 93 meters (305 ft) tall with 25 stories. Both rise from a four-story podium that adjoins the station. The complex has 28 elevators. The offices take up 66,000 m2, equivalent to 710,000 sq ft. Tower I remained the country's tallest office tower until May 2009.

The complex was built between 1988 and 1991. A metro tunnel runs underneath it, so advanced construction methods were needed and only one underground floor could be built. It was long known as the Nationale-Nederlanden building because that Dutch company was its main user until 2015. CBRE Global Investors, its owner, reopened it in April 2015 for general office use, with 65,000 m2 of office space, or 700,000 sq ft.
