Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Long platforms under one roof

A station of this kind has a broad roof over long platforms. Print friendly adapts thin canopy edges and small details to the print scale; a larger print keeps the platform rows readable.

  2. Crisp vertical supports

The roof supports are slender. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and slower printing help them stay straight.

  3. One piece with the ground

Rotterdam Centraal station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Rotterdam Centraal station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Rotterdam Centraal station

Rotterdam Centraal serves as the main railway station for Rotterdam, a city in South Holland, the Netherlands. Its present building sits at Station Square and formally opened in March 2014. Reconstruction of the station and the area around it got under way in 2004, driven by growth in train traffic, including the high-speed route linking Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris, and by RandstadRail. The contract went in June 2004 to Team CS, a partnership of Benthem Crouwel Architekten, West 8 and MVSA Meyer & Van Schooten Architects.

Rotterdam had no central station before World War II; four separate stations served the city and its edges instead. Bombing during the Rotterdam Blitz badly damaged Delftsche Poort, which was replaced by a new Centraal station slightly west of the old site. Sybold van Ravesteyn designed that building; it was finished on March 13, 1957, and formally opened on May 21. It closed in 2007, was demolished in 2008, and was the first major post-war station in the country to be removed for a replacement.

Seven island platforms and thirteen platform tracks handle mainline trains, with three further tracks lacking a platform. The rebuilt metro station below uses three tracks and a pair of island platforms. Inside the passenger passage travelers find two supermarkets, a HEMA and various take-away food outlets. Almost every line of the city's tram network also serves the station, along with local buses.
