About Elara
Elara, formerly known as PH Towers, rises 50 stories behind the Planet Hollywood resort on the Las Vegas Strip. It is a timeshare building and a hotel without a casino. Its address is 80 East Harmon Avenue, Paradise, Nevada. In 2005, Robert Earl and David A. Siegel teamed up to develop it as a hotel and timeshare project, after two earlier projects on the property failed to materialize.
Ground was broken in January 2006, and the topping-off came on July 2, 2008. The project opened in December 2009 at a cost of $660 million, while plans for additional towers were cancelled. It opened with 1,201 units; approximately 200 of them were meant as timeshares, and the remainder were Planet Hollywood's hotel rooms.
It was the first timeshare project connected to a major casino resort, and promotional material called it the world's largest timeshare building. Westgate Resorts sold it in 2011; Hilton Grand Vacations Company was then brought in to rebrand it. Twenty-eight penthouses and 1,201 units made up the tower. The new name, Elara, came in March 2012.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 50 mm | 1:3,750 |
| 200 mm | 62 mm | 1:3,000 |

- Tall slab with banded facade
- The tower is a tall, narrow slab with fine horizontal banding. Print slowly for the thin upper floors; Print friendly merges the finest lines, while Full detail keeps them at larger sizes.
- One piece with the ground
- Elara is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Elara takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Elara is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there an Elara STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Elara grows with the print: about 50 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
