Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Rooftop obelisks and a slim tower

Four small obelisks crown the roofline of a tall, narrow tower. Print friendly adapts these thin tips to your print scale, and Full detail keeps them on larger prints. Print slowly with good cooling.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Griffith Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Griffith Building takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Griffith Building

Newark's Griffith Building, a high-rise also named the Griffith Piano Company Building, rises at 605-607 Broad Street beside Military Park, in Essex County, New Jersey. It was built in 1927 as a headquarters for two Griffith organizations: the Griffith Piano Company, plus the Griffith Foundation.

The National Register of Historic Places added it on May 24, 1984, for its importance to architecture, commerce and music. On June 18, 2004, it also became a contributing property in the Military Park Commons Historic District. It measures 42.5 feet (13 m) by Broad Street, running 177 feet (54 m) to the west. An air shaft cut into the south side gives it a U shape.

The base is clad in scored granite, and the name GRIFFITH is carved in Roman-block letters above a recessed central showcase window. Yellow brick covers the fourth through twelfth floors, with matching rows of six rectangular windows. The top is more elaborate, with three biforas, a Solomonic column, and four obelisks on the roofline.
