Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Long, low station building

A station of this kind is long and low, so its roofline and platform edges can merge at small sizes. Print larger or choose Full detail, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers.

  2. One piece with the ground

Hachiōji Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hachiōji Station takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Hachiōji Station

Hachiōji Station is a major railway junction in Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan. East Japan Railway Company operates it. The station opened on August 11, 1889. The Chūō Main Line passes through the station, 47.4 kilometers from its terminus at Tokyo Station. The Yokohama Line, which runs to Higashi-Kanagawa, and the Hachikō Line, which runs to Komagawa, both end here.

The station has three island platforms serving four tracks, connected to an elevated station building, and a staffed ticket office known as Midori no Madoguchi. Station numbering was introduced on August 20, 2016, assigning JC22 to the Chūō Line and JH32 to the Yokohama Line. JR East took over the station when Japanese National Railways was privatized on April 1, 1987. Keiō Hachiōji, a station on the Keiō Line, stands about 400 meters to the northeast.
