5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Rooflines and edges
Rooflines and facade edges are the fine parts of a station model. Print it larger, or use 0.12–0.16 mm layers, so those lines stay clean.
- One piece with the ground
Haijima Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Haijima Station takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Haijima Station
Haijima Station is a passenger railway interchange in Akishima, Tokyo, Japan. JR East (East Japan Railway Company) and the private operator Seibu Railway run it jointly. It is also a freight depot for JR Freight, the Japan Freight Railway Company. Several lines meet here, including the Ōme Line linking Tachikawa and Ōme and the Seibu Haijima Line from Seibu Shinjuku.
On the JR East side there are two island platforms and a single side platform, with five tracks in total. The station building is elevated and sits above the tracks and platforms, and a staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office serves passengers. The Seibu side has one island platform serving two tracks. Platform edge doors with three movable bars were tried on part of platform five in March 2015.
The station opened on November 19, 1894. The Seibu station opened on May 15, 1968. Haijima lies 6.9 kilometers along the Ōme Line from Tachikawa. Hachiōji Station is 9.9 kilometers away, and Seibu Shinjuku Station lies 36.9 kilometers from Haijima. An industrial line also runs to Yokota Air Base to supply fuel.
