112 m of the Hamburg City Hall, 33 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tower over a broad block
A tall tower rises from a wide civic block. The tower is the narrowest part of a building like this, so print larger or use Full detail, with 0.12–0.16 mm layers, to keep the tower and roof edges crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Hamburg City Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Hamburg City Hall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Hamburg City Hall
Hamburg City Hall is the seat of local government in Hamburg, Germany, and the seat of one of the country's 16 state parliaments. It stands in the Altstadt quarter at the Rathausmarkt, near the Binnenalster and the central station. Built from 1886 to 1897, it keeps its original official functions: the office of the First Mayor, and chambers used by the Senate and Parliament.
The old city hall burned in the great fire of 1842, and almost 44 years passed before a new one was built. Seven architects, led by Martin Haller, designed the present building. Work began in 1886 and the hall was inaugurated in 1897 at a cost of 11 million gold marks, roughly €80 million. At the opening ceremony on October 26, 1897, the First Mayor, Johannes Versmann, was handed the key.
The exterior is Neo-Renaissance, one of the few completely preserved historicist buildings in Hamburg, and its copper roof has weathered green. The tower rises 112 m (367 ft) over 436 steps. Its total area is 17,000 m² (182,986 sq ft), and its building area is 5,400 m² (58,125 sq ft); 647 rooms have been counted, and a room inside the tower came to light by accident in 1971, so there may be more. The courtyard holds a Hygieia fountain built in memory of the cholera epidemic of 1892.
About this model
The Hamburg City Hall is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
