Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Saddle roof and cable anchors

The roof dips low between two raised end arches, with combs of thin triangular cable anchors along the top. Those fins and the glass curtain-wall mullions are the finest parts; use Full detail for a larger print.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Helsinki Ice Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Helsinki Ice Hall takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Helsinki Ice Hall

Helsinki Ice Hall, commonly called Nordis, is an indoor arena in Helsinki's Taka-Töölö neighborhood, in Finland. It seats 8,200 people and has housed HIFK of the Liiga since the building went up in 1966. The Finnish Ice Hockey Association sometimes refers to the venue simply as Töölö, after its district.

Jokerit shared the arena from 1967 to 1997, when it left for Veikkaus Arena, then came back for selected home games in 2023. For years the hall staged most of Finland's major ice sports events and indoor concerts. Once the Gatorade Center arrived in 1990, then Veikkaus Arena, and later Nokia Arena in 2021, the biggest events shifted to those newer buildings. The hall also serves concerts, conferences, expos and sports, and it hosted some games at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2016.

Its other nickname, Petoluola, is Finnish for 'The Beast Cave,' a nod to HIFK's home rink and the red panther on the club's secondary logo. The 2022 IIHF World Championship brought its Group A fixtures here after sanctions affected some Helsinki Halli owners.
