- Tall thin spire
The slender spire is the most delicate part of this model. Print slowly with good cooling, and choose Print friendly for small prints or Full detail with a fine layer height at a larger size.
- One piece with the ground
The House of Prayer Episcopal Church and Rectory is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The House of Prayer Episcopal Church and Rectory takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the House of Prayer Episcopal Church and Rectory
Broad and State Streets in Newark, in Essex County, New Jersey, is the location of House of Prayer Episcopal Church and its rectory, a historic site. The rectory dates from before 1725, around 1710, and the church from 1849. The National Register of Historic Places has listed both since 1972.
The rectory was home to Hannibal Goodwin, a priest and inventor, and it is known as the Plume House. The parish began in 1849, and November 7 saw its first services, held in the rectory. A few days later, work began on the church building, which was designed by Frank Wills in the Gothic Revival style and consecrated a year later. Later in the 19th century, a parish hall went up in several phases.
