458 m of the International Land-Sea Center, 124 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall tower, fine layers
The tower is tall and narrow. A larger print and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the top of the model crisp.
- Slow the upper floors
Print the tower at reduced speed with cooling on, so the upper layers have time to set before the next ones arrive.
- One piece with the ground
The International Land-Sea Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The International Land-Sea Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the International Land-Sea Center
The International Land-Sea Center is the main building of the larger International Trade and Commerce Center in Chongqing, China, a development of 11 towers. That development is the centerpiece of the Chongqing Tian Di Master Plan, a 3.6 million-square-meter redevelopment of a downtown core area. The tower is a mixed-use skyscraper of 98 stories that stands 458.2 m (1,503 ft) high.
The design echoes the sailing ships that once filled the Yangtze and Jialing waterways around the site. It stands as Chongqing's tallest building and ranks among China's tallest. Its 98 stories hold a mix of uses under one roof. Kohn Pedersen Fox is credited as the architect of the tower.
The development was first proposed in 2007 as part of the downtown redevelopment, and construction started in 2012. Work slowed sharply in 2016, then picked up again late in 2019, and builders topped out the main tower in July 2022. The complex is designed to include office, residential, retail and entertainment space.
