About Intuit Dome

Intuit Dome is an indoor, multi-purpose arena in Inglewood, California. It stands south of two other major sports venues in the city, SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum, and serves as the home arena of the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers. Between the 1999–2000 and 2023–24 seasons, the team played at Crypto.com Arena, which it shared with the Lakers and the Kings. The name comes from Intuit, a financial software company based in Mountain View, California, which agreed to a naming rights deal lasting 23 years and worth at least $500 million.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on September 17, 2021. The arena opened on August 15, 2024, before the 2024–25 NBA season began, and back-to-back Bruno Mars shows on August 15 and 16 were announced as its opening events. AECOM designed the 18,000-seat arena. The project also includes a practice facility, a sports medicine clinic and team offices, along with retail space and an outdoor plaza of 24,000 m2 (260,000 square feet) whose basketball courts are open to the public.

Inside, a double-sided halo video board, like the one at nearby SoFi Stadium, spans 3,565.2 m2 (38,375 square feet) with a 4K display, and Daktronics designed it. A seating section called "The Wall" has 51 consecutive rows with no suites and is reserved for Clippers fans. Glenn Kaino's "Sails", an artwork of clipper ships built from painted steel and wood, stands at the main entrance.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes
Print size Landmark height Scale
160 mm default 13 mm 1:3,750
200 mm 16 mm 1:3,000
256 mm 21 mm 1:2,344

Ribbed outer shell
The bowl is wrapped in thin ribs and bands. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale; Full detail keeps every rib, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
Roof ribs and lettering
The roof has radiating ribs and the arena name in small raised lettering. A larger print keeps these small details legible, and thin layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep their edges crisp.
One piece with the ground
Intuit Dome is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Intuit Dome takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Intuit Dome is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there an Intuit Dome STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Intuit Dome grows with the print: about 13 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
