4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A small dome and entrance columns
A small dome and a curved canopy on thin columns mark the entrance end. Print friendly thickens thin columns at small sizes; Full detail keeps them on large prints.
- Sloped roof with a patterned face
A tall, sloped roof section has a dotted pattern on its end wall, and a vaulted canopy sits at the other end. 0.12-0.16 mm layers keep these small features crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Islamic Center of Passaic County is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Islamic Center of Passaic County takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Islamic Center of Passaic County
Derrom Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey, is home to the Islamic Center of Passaic County, a mosque and Islamic cultural center. It is among the largest mosques in New Jersey. Founded in 1990 in Paterson's Eastside Park, it sits next to South Paterson, a neighborhood described as home to what is the nation's largest Muslim community.
The Paterson mosque is the organization's original and main branch. In 2016 the center opened its first branch, in Clifton, which hosts some of its Quran memorization classes; the classes run at 3 levels. The Prospect Park branch, also called Masjid Younis, opened in 2021. The center's bookstore is found only at the Paterson mosque.
Mohammad Qatanani, an imam of the center since 1996, founded Muslim-Christian Dialogue of New Jersey. In March 2022 the center organized a drive collecting donations for refugees from Ukraine, with gifts from members of the mosque community and from many non-Muslims in the county.
