Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slender clock tower and cupola

A narrow tower rises from the center of the roof and ends in a small domed cupola. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail suits a larger print, and printing slowly helps the tall tower.

  2. Rusticated walls and arches

The walls have a fine stone pattern with tall arched openings. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps these shallow details crisp, and a larger print keeps them readable.

  3. One piece with the ground

Paterson City Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Paterson City Hall takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Paterson City Hall

Paterson City Hall stands at 155 Market Street in Paterson, in Passaic County, New Jersey. Its block lies in Downtown Paterson, and four streets surround it: Market Street on its north side, Colt Street on the east, Ellison Street on the south and Washington Street on the west.

The building went up in 1896 to mark the city's centennial. Carrere and Hastings, a firm from New York, designed it in 1894, modeling it on the Hôtel de Ville, the city hall of Lyon, France, which was the capital of Europe's silk industry. On March 10, 1995, the city hall joined the National Register of Historic Places, for its significance in architecture, politics and government, and community planning and development.

Three statues of political figures from Paterson stand outside the Market Street side. One honors Nathan Barnert, a businessman and philanthropist who was elected mayor twice. Another honors Andrew McBride, a physician elected mayor three times. The third, in the center in front of the entrance, honors Garret Hobart, who settled in Paterson after graduating from Rutgers College and rose to be among its most influential political leaders before being elected William McKinley's first Vice President.
