25 m of the İzmir Clock Tower, 7 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Four fountains and open gallery
Four small domed fountain pavilions and an open gallery surround the base. Print friendly adapts the thin columns and arch openings for small prints.
- Lattice shaft and crescent
The tall shaft carries diamond lattice relief and ends in an open belfry with a crescent finial. A 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps the fine lattice and finial crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The İzmir Clock Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The İzmir Clock Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the İzmir Clock Tower
The İzmir Clock Tower is a historic clock tower in İzmir, Türkiye, set on Konak Square within the Konak district. It is considered the main landmark of İzmir and appears on the municipal emblem. Kâmil Pasha, then governor of the Aidin Vilayet, met prominent local figures on August 1, 1900, and they resolved to build a clock tower for the 25th anniversary of Sultan Abdul Hamid II's accession.
Raymond Charles Péré, a Levantine French architect, designed it. Ground was broken on September 1, 1900, and the tower was finished in August 1901. It was formally inaugurated on September 1, 1901, the anniversary of the sultan's accession. The structure has an iron and lead skeleton, stands 25 m (82 ft) high, and has an octagonal plan with four floors. It is made of marble and stone.
Four fountains are arranged around the base, and the tower carries four clocks, each 75 cm across. A bell on the fourth floor is carried by twelve columns. The top was destroyed by earthquakes in 1928 and 1974, and the tower was restored in 2019. It has also appeared on Turkish 500 lira banknotes and on İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's emblem.
