4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Columns and roofline balusters
The street fronts have tall columns, an ornate cornice and a row of small balusters along the roof edge. Print friendly adapts these to the print scale; Full detail or a larger print keeps them, and a fine layer height helps.
- One piece with the ground
The Jefferson Trust Company is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Jefferson Trust Company takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Jefferson Trust Company
In Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, the Jefferson Trust Company building occupies a corner where Clinton Street meets First Street. The company announced its plans in 1911, because its prosperity meant it was outgrowing earlier quarters at 464 First Street. Construction in 1912 used granite and brick. An addition in 1920, a rear annex plus an east wing, more than doubled the building's size.
The building follows the Classical Revival style. On the original structure, each frontage has three window bays, with piers and Ionic columns on either side, running from the water table up to an ornate entablature. A parapet with balusters sits above most of the window bays, and the name Jefferson Trust Company is inscribed on the First Street frieze. A clock occupies the center window above the former main entrance. Much of the plaster interior is original.
The company went under in the Great Depression. In 1939 the City of Hoboken took the building over because of unpaid taxes; shipyard personnel used it during World War II, and from 1962 it was a garment factory. A restoration in the early 1980s came before a conversion to luxury condos in the late 2000s. February 13, 1986 is the date of its National Register of Historic Places listing.
