196 m of the Kamzík TV Tower, 55 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A very thin antenna mast
A long slim mast tops the tower. Print friendly adapts thin parts like this to your print scale; print slowly so the tall tip stays steady, or use a larger print for more detail.
- Open ribs and many small platforms
Slanted ribs hold stacked decks and cabins with small equipment. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps this fine vertical detail crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Kamzík TV Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Kamzík TV Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Kamzík TV Tower
The Kamzík TV Tower is a television transmission tower in Bratislava's Koliba area. It is 196 meters (643 ft) tall and stands on Kamzík hill, a part of the Little Carpathians, 437 m above sea level, overlooking much of Slovakia's capital. Its site lies inside Bratislava Forest Park.
Construction took place in 1975, and the tower replaced an earlier transmission tower. Five architects share the design credit: Ján Privitzer, Milan Jurica, Juraj Kozák, Jakub Tomašák and Stanislav Májek. A public observation deck is part of the tower, and when visibility is good, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic can be seen from it.
VEŽA, the tower restaurant, closed in 2010, and its kitchen and service team transferred to the West Restaurant in a hotel roughly 100 m (330 ft) down the approach road. A restaurant called Altitude opened in 2011 with an updated interior and Mediterranean cuisine. Its main restaurant, on the floor below the cafe bar, had rotating tables with a full 360-degree panoramic view.
