Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Station roof and walls

Station roofs and wall edges are the main shapes at this scale. A larger print helps them read, and 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep the edges crisp.

  2. Details along the platform

Small roof and platform details can soften at the default size. Print larger or choose Full detail to keep them, and print slowly along the long sections.

  3. One piece with the ground

Kawasaki Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Kawasaki Station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Kawasaki Station

Kawasaki Station is a passenger railway junction in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, run by East Japan Railway Company, or JR East. Tokyo stands 18.2 km (11.3 mi) away, while Ōmiya lies 48.5 km (30.1 mi) off. Three elevated island platforms carry six tracks, and the elevated station building is built into a shopping center; a staffed Midori no Madoguchi ticket office is also there.

The station opened on July 10, 1872, as the first intermediate station on Japan's first railway, during a trial service between Shinagawa and Sakuragichō in Yokohama before the line's official opening in October 1872. The Nambu Railway, later the Nambu Line, opened on March 9, 1927. A Kawasaki City Tram line of 6.7 km (4.2 mi) ran from a terminal in front of the station to Shiohama Station, now closed, between 1944 and 1969.

On the west side, the station connects to the Lazona Kawasaki Plaza shopping mall; on the east side is the Atre Kawasaki complex. Yodobashi Camera, Hands, and More-s Department Store are among the other shops nearby, and Keikyu Kawasaki Station lies to the northeast. Platforms 1 and 2 play the song "Ue o Muite Arukou", known as "Sukiyaki", by Kyu Sakamoto, who was born in Kawasaki. The basement of the adjoining More's store holds an escalator with a height difference of 83.4 cm, or 2 ft 8.8 in, described as the world's shortest.
