Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall, broad complex

The model is a tall, broad mass, so its upper edges soften first at small sizes. A larger print keeps the outline sharp, and 0.12–0.16 mm layers hold the vertical faces.

  2. One piece with the ground

Klosterneuburg Abbey is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Klosterneuburg Abbey takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Klosterneuburg Abbey

Klosterneuburg Abbey is an Augustinian monastery of the Catholic Church, founded in the twelfth century in the Lower Austrian town of Klosterneuburg. It overlooks the Danube, just north of Vienna's city limits at the Leopoldsberg. Saint Leopold III of Babenberg, Austria's patron saint, founded it in 1114 with his second wife, Agnes of Germany. Its abbey church is dedicated to the Nativity of Mary; it was consecrated in 1136, then remodeled in Baroque style during the seventeenth century.

Most of the monastery went up between 1730 and 1834. The foundations reach back to the twelfth century and include a Gothic chapel and a castle tower, and a chapel of 1318 holds Saint Leopold's tomb. From 1634 the Habsburg rulers rebuilt the facilities in the Baroque style, with Jakob Prandtauer and with Donato Felice d'Allio continuing the work. In 1879 the church and monastery were restored using plans from Friedrich von Schmidt, and the twin steeples were erected in neo-Gothic style.

The monastery holds the Verduner Altar, which Nicholas of Verdun made in 1181. Its three parts are made of 45 gilded plates of copper modeled after Byzantine examples, like the Shrine of the Three Kings in Cologne Cathedral. A museum displays Gothic and Baroque sculpture and a painting gallery that includes Rueland Frueauf's fifteen-panel paintings from 1505 and four Passion paintings from the back of the Verduner Altar, dated 1331.
