Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Lantern and terraces

The tower has two square stages, each with a terrace and a small open lantern cage above. Print friendly adapts the thin rails and cage; Full detail keeps them for a large print or fine nozzle.

  2. Slit windows and crest

Small recessed windows and a shallow crest relief mark the masonry faces. A larger print and 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep these details and the terrace edges crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Lighthouse of Genoa is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Lighthouse of Genoa takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Lighthouse of Genoa

The Lighthouse of Genoa, known as La Lanterna, is the main light for the harbor of Genoa, Liguria's capital in Italy. Besides being an aid to navigation at night, it serves as a symbol and landmark for the city. The present tower was rebuilt in 1543 in the Renaissance style, replacing an earlier lighthouse.

Built of masonry, it stands 76 m (249 ft) tall in two square stages, each capped by a terrace, with a lantern at the top. Among the world's lighthouses, it ranks fourth in age, after the Tower of Hercules in Spain, Hook Head in Ireland and Kõpu in Estonia. Between 1543 and 1902 it was the tallest lighthouse in the world.

Measured with the natural rock beneath it, the whole structure reaches 112 m (367 ft). That makes it Europe's tallest lighthouse and the world's second tallest; among traditional lighthouses it is the tallest. The tower stands on the hill of San Benigno, on a cape that once marked the entrance to Genoa's original port.
