Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Corner towers and thin trusses

Tall rectangular towers carry thin diagonal trusses toward the roof. Print friendly adapts these slender parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints, and printing slowly with cooling helps.

  2. Arched lower facade

A row of arches runs along the lower side of one stand. A larger print keeps the arches open, and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers help.

  3. One piece with the ground

Stadio Luigi Ferraris is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stadio Luigi Ferraris takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Stadio Luigi Ferraris

Stadio Luigi Ferraris is a multi-use stadium in the Marassi neighborhood of Genoa, Italy, and it is also called the Marassi after that neighborhood. Two football clubs, Genoa CFC and UC Sampdoria, share it. It dates from 1911, which makes it the oldest stadium in Italy still used for football and other sports. Besides football, it has hosted rugby matches of the Italian national team and, more rarely, concerts. It carries the name of Luigi Ferraris, who lived from 1887 to 1915 and was a footballer, an engineer and a soldier; he died during World War I.

Genoa played Internazionale in the match that inaugurated the stadium on January 22, 1911, when it could hold 20,000 spectators. Its first international, a friendly on December 22, 1912, ended in a 3–1 loss for Italy against Austria. Spain and Brazil met there in a round-of-16 match of the 1934 World Cup, by which time capacity had grown to 30,000. Italy against Portugal on February 27, 1949 drew the highest attendance, 60,000.

Ahead of the 1990 World Cup, the stadium was taken apart and rebuilt, and it then staged three Group C matches plus a round-of-16 game in which the Republic of Ireland faced Romania. The architect Vittorio Gregotti was given the task. His design repeats a square motif, with square openings in the outer wall behind each goal end terrace, plus six square stairwells that jut out over the main entrance, and large square openings in the side walls. Four rectangular towers carry the roof on white steel trusses.
