Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Rooftop boxes and side stairs
Small roof boxes and an outside stair sit on the main block. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
Main School, Hillburn is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Main School, Hillburn takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Main School, Hillburn
Main School is also the Suffern Central School District's administration building. This historic school stands in Hillburn, which is in Rockland County, New York, and it dates from 1912. The two-story structure is made of hollow tile and concrete, finished with a stucco covering over a raised basement. Its design includes Colonial Revival elements, and it first held eight classrooms.
In 1943 the school became the center of a prominent fight over desegregation, which came after New York State's segregation law was overturned in 1938. That year, attorney Thurgood Marshall prevailed in a disparity case over school integration in Hillburn, 11 years before Brown v. Board of Education, representing the village's African-American parents.
At that time, children of mixed race from the town of Ramapo went to the Brook School in Hillburn, a wooden building without a library, indoor bathrooms or gymnasium. Main School, by contrast, was set aside for white children, and it had indoor plumbing, a library and a gymnasium. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 2015.
