16 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Long nave and tower
A long church body with a tower prints best at a larger size, with 0.12–0.16 mm layers keeping the vertical edges crisp. Print friendly adapts the smallest details.
- One piece with the ground
The Minoritenkirche (Vienna) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Minoritenkirche (Vienna) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Minoritenkirche (Vienna)
The Minoritenkirche, formally the Italienische Nationalkirche Maria Schnee, is a church in Vienna's Innere Stadt, at the Minoritenplatz northwest of the Hofburg. It was built in French Gothic style, one of the earliest Gothic churches in the east-Austrian region. A group of followers of Francis of Assisi received the site in 1224, and King Ottokar II of Bohemia laid the foundation stone in 1276.
Duke Albrecht II supported the building, above all its main portal. Between 1316 and 1328 the Gothic Ludwig choir was added and served as a mausoleum during the 14th and 15th centuries, and the church was completed in 1350. Its bell tower lost its top in the first Austro-Turkish war, was rebuilt, and was damaged again in the second; it was then given a flat roof.
Inside is a life-sized mosaic after Leonardo's The Last Supper. Giacomo Raffaelli, a Roman mosaicist, made it, and Napoleon I commissioned the work in 1809. It was unfinished when Napoleon abdicated; Francis II of Austria bought it, and Emperor Ferdinand I of Austria gave it to the Italian Congregation, which installed it on the north wall. It measures 9.18 by 4.47 m and weighs some 20 tons.
