About Vienna
Vienna is the capital and most populous city of Austria, and it is also one of the country's nine states. It has just over two million inhabitants. The city lies along the Danube, beside the Vienna Woods, which form the northeasternmost foothills of the Alps, and Lower Austria surrounds it completely. The Romans founded a castrum called Vindobona there in the 1st century, and Vienna became the Babenberg seat in 1155. During the 16th century the Habsburgs made it the seat of the Holy Roman emperors, a role it kept, apart from a brief interruption, until 1806. The city center became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
Vienna preserves a range of architectural styles, including Romanesque and Baroque. The Vienna Secession movement, which was closely tied to Art Nouveau, left many traces, and Otto Wagner designed the Secession building and the Kirche am Steinhof, among others. The Wiener Moderne shunned extraneous adornment, and Adolf Loos was responsible for the Looshaus of 1909. In the 1990s, extensive building projects went ahead around Donaustadt and Wienerberg, and several quarters were adapted. Projects that combine modern elements with old buildings include the 2001 revitalization of the old Gasometer. The DC Towers rise on the Danube's northern bank and were completed in 2013.

Common questions
Are these Vienna landmark models free?
Yes. All 7 models on this page are free. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
Can I download Vienna landmark STL files?
Mini Skyline builds each file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How tall do the Vienna landmarks print?
On the default 160 mm print they stand between about 7 and 67 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
