Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Arched windows on a tall hotel

The arch-shaped windows are small, repeated details on a tall tower. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers.

  2. One piece with the ground

Montreal Marriott Château Champlain is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Montreal Marriott Château Champlain takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Montreal Marriott Château Champlain

The Montreal Marriott Château Champlain, a skyscraper hotel, faces Place du Canada in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; its address is 1050 De la Gauchetière Street West. It opened on January 11, 1967. CP Hotels built it for the crowds who came to Expo 67, and it was Canada's tallest hotel at the time. The hotel stands 139 m (456 ft) high.

The hotel was the work of Jean-Paul Pothier and Roger D'Astous, both architects from Quebec. Its arch-shaped windows were meant to echo the Romanesque Revival arches of Windsor Station nearby, which was also a Canadian Pacific property. D'Astous had been a pupil of Frank Lloyd Wright. The arches have also been likened to the Marin County Civic Center, Wright's final commission. Because of those openings, some people call the building the "cheese grater".

CP Hotels bought CN Hotels in 1988 and so acquired the larger adjacent Queen Elizabeth Hotel, and Le Château Champlain was sold in 1991. Marriott took over management in 1995, and the hotel received the name Montreal Marriott Château Champlain. Guests have 596 rooms and 19 suites to choose from, plus a health and fitness center.

About this model

Montreal Marriott Château Champlain is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
