Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Dome above the main block

The building is topped by a dome, the part to watch at print scale. Print larger, or keep Full detail, so the dome stays distinct from the roofline.

  2. Layers for long roof edges

Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers and print slowly, so the roof edges and the walls below the dome come out crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The National Museum (Prague) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The National Museum (Prague) takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the National Museum (Prague)

The National Museum in Prague is a public museum devoted to the Czech Republic's natural science, history, culture and people. Kašpar Maria Šternberg founded it in 1818, and the historian František Palacký was closely involved in its foundation. Its holdings run to nearly 14 million items, covering natural history, history, art, music and librarianship, and are spread across dozens of museum buildings.

The main building stands at the upper end of Wenceslas Square in downtown Prague, a neo-Renaissance structure that the architect Josef Schulz built between 1885 and 1891. Its earlier homes, the Sternberg Palace and then the Nostitz Palace, had become too small for the collections. A bomb damaged the building in 1945, and machine-gun fire scarred the facade during the 1968 Warsaw Pact intervention. A major reconstruction closed it from July 7, 2011, to October 28, 2018, and the dome opened to visitors in February 2019.

Because the building dominates the busiest intersection in Prague, it carries significant national importance and often serves as a gathering point for protests, rallies and public events. Permanent exhibitions in the historical building cover minerals, evolution, prehistory and the history of the Czech lands, and an underground corridor links it to the New Building next door, the former Federal Assembly. The museum also keeps a long list of other buildings across the country.
