84 m of the New Jersey Bell Headquarters Building, 23 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall tower with setbacks
The tower is tall and narrow, with stepped upper levels and a crown of small ridges. Print friendly adapts the crown to the print scale; Full detail keeps it on a larger print. Print slowly for the top.
- Fine vertical ribs
Vertical ribs run down the facade. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The New Jersey Bell Headquarters Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The New Jersey Bell Headquarters Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the New Jersey Bell Headquarters Building
The New Jersey Bell Headquarters Building rises in Newark, in Essex County, New Jersey. The New Jersey Bell Telephone Company put it up in 1929. Ralph Thomas Walker of the firm Voorhees, Gmelin, and Walker designed the Art Deco tower, which rises 20 stories, to a height of 275 ft (84 m).
The facade is buff brick and sandstone, decorated with pilasters made by the sculptor Edward McCartan. Since the building opened, soft orange lights have lit its upper floors at night. Its listing on the National Register of Historic Places dates to September 21, 2005.
Later the tower served as the headquarters of Verizon New Jersey, Inc. After a sale in 2017, it was turned into market-rate apartments in a residential high-rise and renamed Walker House, after the architect who designed it. It opened under that name in 2019.
