Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Chimneys and window detail
Tall chimneys stand on the roof, and the walls are covered in small window openings. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; print larger with Full detail to keep them.
- One piece with the ground
The Newark Female Charitable Society is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Newark Female Charitable Society takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Newark Female Charitable Society
Leading women of Newark founded the Newark Female Charitable Society in 1803. Among social organizations it ranks first in age in New Jersey and third in the United States. Its stated goal was to help the needy without creating pauperism, and its programs included a laundry, a kitchen garden class and a sewing school.
The most significant of the society's buildings, at 305 Halsey Street, is a three-story building of red brick and terra cotta that the Society built in 1886 to a design by R. H. Rowden. Its style is described as Victorian Eclectic, with definite Romanesque features. Next door, at 41 Hill Street, the Society bought a brick townhouse in 1912 and sold it in 1923, and at 43 Hill Street a two-story clinic was built in 1977. The whole complex earned a National Register of Historic Places listing in 1979. The Society goes by the name Newark Day Center and continues to use 305 Halsey Street and 43 Hill Street.
