Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A big roof over a wide nave

The roof and long walls dominate the model at the default print size. Print larger, or keep Full detail, so the roofline and the tower stay distinct.

  2. Layer height for long walls

Set the slicer to 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the long wall and roof surfaces come out clean rather than stepped.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Oude Kerk, Amsterdam is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Oude Kerk, Amsterdam takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam

The Oude Kerk, or Old Church, is Amsterdam's oldest parish church and the oldest structure in the city, a Reformed church since the Reformation. A wooden chapel stood on the site by around 1213, and in 1306 a stone church was consecrated by Utrecht's bishop, with Saint Nicolas as patron. After the Reformation of 1578 the church became Calvinist.

The church stands in De Wallen, on the Oudekerksplein, the square that surrounds it. It covers some 3,300 m2, or 36,000 sq ft, on an artificial mound, and its ceiling is Europe's largest medieval wooden vault, made of Estonian oak planks dated to 1390 and noted for their acoustics. The floor is made entirely of gravestones: 2,500 of them, over the burials of 60,000 Amsterdam citizens, with interments on the site until 1865. Since 2012 the church has also held contemporary art exhibitions.

Four pipe organs stand in the church, among them a 1724 instrument by Christian Vater that is counted among Europe's finest Baroque organs, and a 2010 organ built by Organi Puccini of Pisa. Rembrandt visited often and all his children were christened here; his wife Saskia van Uylenburgh was buried in the church in 1642. Each year on March 9 (March 8 in leap years) the early morning sun briefly lights her tomb.
