8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Steeple and small pinnacles
The tall steeple and the small pointed pinnacles are slim. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints. Printing slowly helps tall thin parts.
- One piece with the ground
The Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook
Bound Brook, in Somerset County, New Jersey, has a church of historic note at 409 Mountain Avenue: the Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook. Its congregation dates to the 18th century and counts among the oldest in the state. The first pastor called to serve, Reverend Israel Read, served from 1750 until his death in 1793.
Architect Oscar Teale designed the current building, which went up in 1896. Teale was also a magician and worked closely with Harry Houdini. The church blends Tudor Revival with Gothic Revival elements, and several stained glass windows designed by Tiffany grace it. The National Register of Historic Places listed the church on August 28, 2007, citing ecclesiastical architecture from 1896 to 1922.
