Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Choosing the detail level

Print larger to keep small features. "Print friendly" suits a small print, while "Full detail" suits a larger size and a fine nozzle.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando

The San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts stands on the Calle de Alcalá in central Madrid, where it operates as a museum and gallery. It is a public law corporation and belongs to the Instituto de España alongside the other Spanish royal academies. A royal decree established the academy in 1752, and it also serves as headquarters for the Madrid Academy of Art.

About twenty years later, Charles III, described as an enlightened monarch, bought a palace in Madrid to be the academy's new home. José Benito de Churriguera had designed the building for the Goyeneche family in a baroque manner. The king asked Diego de Villanueva to convert it for academic use, and Villanueva chose a neoclassical style over Churriguera's baroque design.

The academy's first graduate was Bárbara María Hueva, and Francisco Goya was once one of its directors. Alumni include Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí and Fernando Botero. The museum holds paintings dating from the 15th through the 20th centuries, with works by Velázquez, Goya, Murillo, Zurbarán and Rubens, among many others, and one rare Portrait of George Washington by Giuseppe Pirovani.
