Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Wide tiled roof and chimney

This is a very small model with a wide overhanging roof, fine tile texture and a tall chimney. Print friendly keeps these printable; Full detail keeps all the texture, so use a larger print and a layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Rushmore Memorial Library is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Rushmore Memorial Library takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Rushmore Memorial Library

In Highland Mills, New York, the Rushmore Memorial Library stands where NY 32 meets Weygant Hill Road. It is also called the Rushmore Memorial Building. This modest stone building in the Arts and Crafts style went up in the 1920s using money donated by Charles E. Rushmore, a local resident after whom Mount Rushmore is also named.

The library has one story and is faced in puddingstone, quarried locally and laid uncoursed. Its hipped roof of ceramic tile, in the Mission style, extends past the walls on every side and shelters the front steps too. A stone chimney rises on the west side. The interior is a single room with a large fireplace and mahogany bookshelves, and a bronze memorial plaque carries a poem by Rushmore's daughter, Jane Rushmore Patterson.

The architect was Howard Gregory, a young local veteran of the war, who designed the library and supervised its construction throughout 1924. Until the mid-1980s it was the public library of the Town of Woodbury, and it later became the town historical society's headquarters. Its National Register of Historic Places listing dates from 2008, after two earlier attempts in the 1980s did not succeed.
