Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Sculptural outline

Print larger so the building's sculptural outline reads clearly, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for the roofline.

  2. One piece with the ground

Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus

The Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus is a theater building and company in Düsseldorf, Germany. Its present home has two major auditoria and was built from 1965 to 1969 to a design by Bernhard Pfau. It opened in 1970. The city of Düsseldorf commissioned the building while Karl Heinz Stroux was director, and Pfau won the international competition for it in 1959.

Pfau shaped the theater like a sculpture, setting it against the nearby Dreischeibenhaus, and the style has been called organic architecture. When the building opened, the great hall held 900 people and the small hall 300. The site on Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz had been secured in 1958.

The company traces its history to 1747, when, under elector Karl Theodor, the Gießhaus became a theater. Louise Dumont and Gustav Lindemann opened a house devoted to plays in 1905. After World War II, Gustaf Gründgens turned the house into one of Europe's most important stages.
