Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Porch columns and railings

Slim porch columns and railings run along the front and the side. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints or with a fine nozzle.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Shady Rest Country Club is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Shady Rest Country Club takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Shady Rest Country Club

The Shady Rest Country Club in Scotch Plains, Union County, New Jersey, at 820 Jerusalem Road, was the first country club in the United States established for African Americans. African American residents and investors formed the Progressive Realty Corporation in 1921, leased the property and opened the club on July 28, 1921.

Its facilities included six tennis courts and a 9-hole course, plus croquet, horseback riding, skeet shooting and a baseball diamond. From 1931 to 1964 it was home to John Shippen, the first American professional golfer, and also the first African American to play in the U.S. Open. During those years it became a vibrant meeting place where Black intellectuals, artists and athletes gathered.

The township bought the property in 1938 and made it a public golf course in 1964 named Scotch Hills Country Club, then renamed it Shady Rest again in 2021. The National Register of Historic Places added it on July 7, 2022, citing its significance in entertainment and ethnic heritage, as well as recreation and social history, in the years 1921 to 1964.
